What is your definition of health? What, in your mind, would make you healthy?
Is it simply weighing a certain amount? Is it being fit enough to complete certain tasks? Is it a way of eating?
Each of our definitions likely differ. Depending on where you are in life, what constitutes good health will vary.
For me to feel healthy currently, I want to maintain a certain level of fitness, avoid being sick, and eat a healthy diet.
Ten or twenty years from now my fitness standards may be less. Maybe I just want to feel good, or be able to play pain free with my dogs (and children?).
By the time I turn 60 or 70 pain free movement, mental clarity, and good nutrition will probably be the 3 factors I'm most concerned with in order to stay healthy.
What I suggest to each of you is to define what constitutes good health in your eyes. Then take baby steps to reach those points.
We are each individuals and therefore should have individual standards. Create yours and you will have a clear path going forward.
