Portions make all the difference.
Your mind might jump to your dinner last night where you had an extra serving of mashed potatoes or went and got a second dessert. But consider portions in all areas of life. Not just portions of food, but also of exercise, intense work, vacations, sleep, etc.
Everything in life adds up. You will waiver back and forth between too much and too little. Eventually you must be able to find balance so your mind, body, and spirit can stay strong and fresh.
Many struggle with too much food. I struggle with too much exercise. Some struggle with too much work and run themselves (and their relationships) into the ground. It could be too much screen time for some.
For a happy life you must take all these facets into consideration. You have to balance work with rest. You must balance food with fasting. You must find an equilibrium that allows you to be healthy, happy, and extract the most out of your life.
Life is a game of give and take. Find your balance.
