Experience and Repetition.
Nothing in life can teach you better than these two.
All skills are developed through repetition. Anyone who has reached a high level in any endeavor has practiced for years. They've put in the time on a consistent basis working towards mastering their craft. You have heard of the 10,000 hour rule. The exact number is meaningless. It is the principle that matters. You must always practice a given skill if you wish to maintain or improve it.
Experience teaches us what does or doesn't work. Theory and concepts give us a basic understanding, but experience shows us what is effective vs what will fail. Put your skills on the line. Test yourself to see if what you are practicing works. The feedback you get from actual experience will directly tell you what skills you are lacking.
A combination of these two is how true mastery is reached.
Repeat this process and no obstacle will ever be too big, no challenge will ever be too hard, and every goal will be achieved.
