Warmer weather is on it's way. That means more sun and more time outside.
Being a heat fanatic, summer is my favorite time of year, but spring isn't too far behind. Those first few days of 60 and 70 degree weather are so pleasant after the cold temperatures we endure for the few months of winter.
Spring is a great time to start adventuring back into the great outdoors. Exploring local hikes, taking a family walk after dinner, or relaxing on your back porch sipping some wine to end the day.
For me spring means exercising outdoors. Long walk with the dogs, sprinting and running around to reminisce on my athletic days, and taking a kettlebell into the front yard to mix with calisthenics while getting a tan for summer.
Mixing sunlight and sweat is a great combination for the body both physically and mentally. If you get a chance in the coming weeks, as the weather begins shaping up, do yourself a favor and head outside. Enjoy the fresh air and the beauty that sits around you.
